Our group walked over to the DoubleTree via a Starbucks to get the van to El Yunque at 9:30 am. We picked up at two other hotels – one the Foxwoods in Isla Verde. Lesson 6 – No longer try to drive on mountain roads.
After the stop at the tour and a waterfall, we went to a river that would be a rapid if there were more water. And then onto Loquillo for lunch and the beach.
We were exhausted when we returned from the tour. Some went to the beach. Others ordered food from several restaurants via Door Dash.
Lesson 7 – Even rain forests may suffer from lack of water sometimes.
